Oppizi Alternative for Australian Shopify Brands
Oppizi is an offline marketing platform founded in Sydney in 2014. Most of what it sells reaches people who are not your customers yet: hand-to-hand flyering, letterbox drops and inserts in other retailers' parcels, with addressed direct mail added in 2020. TouchDrop overlaps with that last channel. It mails your existing Shopify, Klaviyo and Omnisend customers one triggered postcard at a time, printed and lodged inside Australia via Australia Post.
Last updated: 26 September 2026. Oppizi facts checked against oppizi.com/au/en/direct-mail, oppizi.com/au/en/our-story, Oppizi's integrations page and Oppizi's Shopify App Store listing on that date; details change, so confirm current terms on their site.
Short answer: Oppizi is the stronger pick for acquisition, with letterbox drops by area, flyering in major cities and inserts in other brands' parcels. For retention mail to people who have already bought from your Shopify store, TouchDrop sends one triggered card per customer, with no print minimums and its own discount code and QR on every card. A brand could run both without the two overlapping much.
What Oppizi does, and where it overlaps with TouchDrop
Oppizi's story page says its first campaign ran in Sydney in May 2014 with hand-to-hand flyer distribution. It then expanded to New Zealand, Europe and North America, and added direct mail as a channel in September 2020. Its Australian site lists four channels today: direct mail, flyering, letterbox and parcel inserts, and says more than 1,000 companies use it.
The overlap with TouchDrop is addressed direct mail to your own customer list. Oppizi's Australian direct mail page describes uploading a CSV or connecting a CRM, one-time or automated sends, Australia Post compliant designs, and tracking through Australia Post's Informed Visibility. TouchDrop starts from the store, where a Shopify event or a Klaviyo segment decides who gets a card and when.

When Oppizi is the better choice
- You want new customers in a set area. Oppizi runs letterbox drops targeted by postcode or radius and hand-to-hand flyering in major metropolitan cities. TouchDrop does neither.
- You want to reach other retailers' buyers. Oppizi's parcel insert marketplace places your flyer inside other brands' deliveries.
- You want one partner for several offline channels and countries. Oppizi covers flyering, letterbox, inserts and mail, and its site lists 13 countries across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the Americas.
- Your lifecycle stack is Braze. Oppizi lists a Braze integration for triggering mail from customer events. TouchDrop does not list one.
When TouchDrop is the better choice
- You want retention flows that run from your store: abandoned cart, win-back and post-purchase cards triggered by Shopify events.
- Your segments live in Klaviyo or Omnisend. TouchDrop syncs Klaviyo segments and Omnisend segments without a CSV export.
- Your sends are small. TouchDrop has no print minimums, so a handful of abandoned carts a day still gets mailed. Oppizi's minimums typically start around 200 mailers.
- You want to model cost before you commit. TouchDrop publishes its AUD rates with GST included on the pricing guide.
- You want each sale tied to one person. Every card carries its own Shopify discount code and QR code, read in a live ROAS dashboard over a 60-day window.
Frequently asked questions
Is Oppizi a direct mail platform?
Partly. Oppizi began in Sydney in 2014 as a flyer distribution company and added direct mail in September 2020. Its Australian site now lists four channels: addressed direct mail, flyering, letterbox drops and parcel inserts (checked 26 September 2026). TouchDrop does one of those, addressed postcards, and builds it around Shopify, Klaviyo and Omnisend customer data.
Does Oppizi integrate with Shopify and Klaviyo?
Oppizi has a free Shopify App Store app, launched on 2 October 2025 and with no reviews yet (checked 26 September 2026); the listing describes USPS-compliant designs and a US print network. Oppizi's integrations page lists Shopify, Braze and SFTP file transfer, and does not list Klaviyo. TouchDrop connects Shopify through a custom-app setup inside TouchDrop and syncs Klaviyo and Omnisend segments.
Is there a minimum order with Oppizi?
Yes. Oppizi's Australian direct mail FAQ says minimums vary by campaign type and typically start around 200 mailers. TouchDrop has no print minimums, so one abandoned-cart card to one customer is a normal send.
How does Oppizi pricing compare to TouchDrop's?
Oppizi does not publish direct mail rates on its Australian site. Its FAQ says pricing depends on the number of recipients, paper quality, mailer size, destination and delivery method, with bulk discounts, and that you pay only for the mailers you send. TouchDrop's per-card AUD rates and plans are at touchdrop.com.au/guide/pricing.
Can I use Oppizi and TouchDrop together?
Yes, because they do different jobs. A letterbox drop or parcel insert through Oppizi can bring in a first order, and TouchDrop can then mail that customer from your Shopify store: a post-purchase card after the order, a win-back if they go quiet. If you also send Oppizi addressed mail to your customer list, keep those people out of your TouchDrop segments so nobody gets two cards.
Can TouchDrop do letterbox drops or flyering like Oppizi?
No. TouchDrop only mails named customers at their own addresses. For unaddressed letterbox drops or street flyering, Oppizi or another distribution company is the right tool, and our letterbox drop explainer covers how those campaigns work.
