About TouchDrop

TouchDrop is the direct mail automation platform built for Australian Shopify brands. Registered in Australia as TouchDrop Mail Pty Ltd, operating since 2024.

What TouchDrop does

TouchDrop is a SaaS platform that automatically prints and posts personalised postcards to a Shopify or Klaviyo audience. Brands set a trigger (abandoned cart, win-back, post-purchase, segment send), upload artwork, and TouchDrop handles printing, addressing, lodging with Australia Post, and attributing revenue back via per-recipient QR + discount codes.

The point of the product is that direct mail gets measured the way email is. Every card carries a QR code and a discount code unique to the person it was addressed to, so an order that follows can be attributed back to the campaign that caused it rather than estimated.

Who runs TouchDrop

TouchDrop was founded in 2024 by Hylke Reitsma and Gordon Belch.

Where TouchDrop mails

Each market is domestic-only: mail is printed and lodged inside the country it is being sent to, by a print partner in that country. There is no cross-border delivery, so a campaign cannot post from one market into another.

Australian mail is printed and lodged inside Australia via Australia Post. Delivery is generally 3 to 7 business days from lodgement; that is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date.

How a campaign runs

  1. Connect Shopify or Klaviyo so TouchDrop can see the audience.
  2. Pick a trigger — abandoned cart, win-back, post-purchase, or a scheduled segment send.
  3. Upload artwork, or start from a template. Addresses are validated and parcel-locker addresses are filtered out before anything prints.
  4. TouchDrop prints, addresses and lodges the cards with Australia Post, then attributes the orders that follow back to the campaign.

The mechanics are documented in the guides, and the per-card rates in the pricing and postage guide.
