Switching From PostPilot for Your Australian Customers
PostPilot prints in the US and the UK, bills in USD, and does not mention Australia on its pricing or FAQ pages. This checklist covers moving your Australian customers to TouchDrop, which prints and lodges inside Australia: what carries straight over, what you rebuild, what has no equivalent, and how to run both platforms while you test.
Last updated: 26 September 2026. PostPilot facts checked against postpilot.com/pricing and postpilot.com/faq on that date.
Short answer: Your Klaviyo segments carry over untouched. Winback, abandoned-cart and post-purchase flows need rebuilding as TouchDrop triggers, and artwork needs a re-layout to TouchDrop's 210 x 99 mm card. Prospecting, handwritten cards and Amazon attribution have no TouchDrop equivalent, so if you rely on them, keep PostPilot for US customers and move only the Australians.
The switching checklist
- Decide what moves. List every PostPilot flow and one-off campaign, and mark which ones mail Australian addresses. If your US programme leans on AcquisitionAI or SiteMatch, keep it where it is.
- Split your segments by country. Add a country condition to each Klaviyo segment you mail, so Australian profiles feed TouchDrop and everyone else stays on PostPilot. TouchDrop mails domestic addresses only and never sends a card overseas.
- Connect TouchDrop. Connect your Shopify store through the custom-app setup inside TouchDrop, then connect Klaviyo (or Omnisend) so the same segments appear on the TouchDrop side.
- Re-lay out the artwork. TouchDrop's card is 210 x 99 mm at 300 DPI, supplied as PNG or PDF, with the right side of the back kept clear for the Australia Post address block. See the artwork guide.
- Rebuild each flow as a trigger. Winbacks run from Shopify order history or a Klaviyo segment, abandoned cart from Shopify's cart event, post-purchase from the order. Every card gets its own Shopify discount code and QR.
- Stop double-mailing during the overlap. TouchDrop applies a 45-day cooldown after each send and caps any customer at three pieces in a rolling 90 days, but it cannot see PostPilot's sends. Keep the country split clean so no customer sits in both platforms' audiences.
- Allow for Australian transit. Cards arrive 3-7 business days after lodgement with Australia Post, so set delays with that in mind.
- Wind down the PostPilot side. PostPilot says you can change or cancel a plan at any time, with no contracts. Card costs come out of a balance you fund, so turn off auto-renew and check what is left with PostPilot support before you cancel.

Running both platforms side by side
If you sell in both countries, you do not have to switch everything. PostPilot can keep the US list, prospecting included, and TouchDrop takes the Australian profiles from the same Klaviyo segments. Both platforms count an order inside 60 days of a card, so you can read the two sets of results on the same basis, in USD on one side and AUD with GST on the other.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep PostPilot for US customers and use TouchDrop for Australians?
Yes. Split each Klaviyo segment by country so PostPilot mails the US addresses and TouchDrop mails the Australian ones. TouchDrop only mails addresses inside the market you send from, so an Australian campaign never goes overseas.
Will my PostPilot designs work on TouchDrop?
Your artwork will, after a re-layout. PostPilot's US cards are 4x6, 6x9 or 6x11 inches; TouchDrop's Australian card is 210 x 99 mm at 300 DPI, with the right side of the back reserved for the Australia Post address block. Plan a re-layout rather than a straight resize.
Do I lose my Klaviyo segments when I switch?
No. The segments live in your Klaviyo account, so they stay where they are, and TouchDrop syncs Klaviyo segments directly. You rebuild the flow settings (trigger, delay, offer) on the TouchDrop side.
What happens to money left in my PostPilot balance?
PostPilot deducts card costs from a balance you fund, with optional auto-renew, and says plans can be changed or cancelled at any time. Its pricing and FAQ pages do not describe refunds of an unused balance, so ask PostPilot support before you cancel, and turn off auto-renew first.
How do I compare results before and after the switch?
Keep the window the same. PostPilot tracks each Shopify customer who received a card for 60 days, and TouchDrop's default attribution window is also 60 days, so a winback on each platform reads on the same clock. TouchDrop rates are at touchdrop.com.au/guide/pricing.
